Gluten-Free Creamy Tomato ...

Quick tip for a low fat creamy tomato sauce.

Sometimes I want a little cream sauce but not the calories. Here is what I figured out today: took gluten-free ziti slightly undercooked, added tomato sauce (homemade), sautéed it with a pinch of red pepper flakes, 1/4 tsp. dried sage and a tablespoon of grated parmesan until heated. Added 2 tablespoon of nonfat chobani yogurt. Make sure to remove from heat or the yogurt will get lumpy. Won’t look so good, but still tastes great.

Now that I am thinking about it, this sauce would taste great on chicken breasts or grilled eggplant. Can’t wait to try it. Enjoy.
